BLANCHMAN'S FARM LOCAL NATURE RESERVE

Welcome

Blanchman's Farm Local Nature Reserve is a natural green oasis in the heart of Warlingham village in East Surrey.

The Nature Reserve is important as a public open space for people to enjoy and as a haven of different habitats for native plants and animals. There are two summer meadows, a pond, a central wooded area, hazel coppice, a newly planted orchard and horse grazing.

The Nature Reserve covers 10 hectares (25 acres) and is accessible via a network of different paths. The site is popular with the young and old, family groups and regular dog-walkers. School groups and nature conservationists frequently visit the site too.

Blanchman's Farm Local Nature Reserve is an important asset for the people of Warlingham and vital to the quality of the natural environment in and around the village.
The aim of this website is to provide an insight of what you can see if you visit and to summarise some of the key aspects of managing the site.
